Earlier this week I made it a priority to freshen up around the house a bit. It’s amazing what that can do for my mental state during this time of the year. Doesn’t it just DRAG ON?! This room is currently the only one in the house that I feel like I’ve put time into getting styled so this is the only angle you will be seeing of our house HA!. When the sun hits just right during the golden hour, it’s the perfect spot on a sunny, Sunday afternoon.

Spring is near and I’m SO ready. I thought I would round up some inspiration for those of you who need a little pick me up. You’re not alone if you’re feeling a bit done in the dumps right now.

This photo is just perfection. I love the warm tones and the relaxing feel that it has. This is what I’m striving for in our dinette area but we are still stuck in the painting phase. I had no idea updating a home was going to take SO long to do simple tasks. It’s all about the process though and we will be so proud of ourselves when we have just one room done! I’m an all or nothing girl so I’m going all out during the planning and inspiration phases because that’s what I enjoy most. Mood boards for every room…I think yes.

I’m so on board with open shelving. I can’t wait to share my own after we get ours up but I love this version with all of the beautiful earthy colors and pottery. Swoon worthy!

I’m channeling her as I shop for new pieces for my spring wardrobe. It’s that time of year where you look at your closet and everything gets a hard no. I love how effortlessly chic this is. It’s laid back yet put together. I’m liking her hair too- it’s probably time that I go shorter. I feel a spring refresh coming on!

One of the reasons I’m looking forward to spring most is happy hour on our patio. I love the idea of having a bunch of girlfriends over for a fancy specialty cocktail. How amazing do these hibiscus sour gin cocktails look?

Sunshine, an iced coffee, and some R&R at my farm sound really great right now. I’m finishing up two HUGE projects right now that have been challenging and incredibly rewarding- with clients that I love. I am so excited to reveal what they are and start working on a few ideas for a mini painting collection of my own.
